This rice has a natural process of steaming followed by drying, which allows to preserve most of the nutrients, namely vitamins, minerals and fiber. It is an easier rice to cook and is looser as it has a grain that is more resistant to cooking. Also ideal for keeping longer in the fridge, mantaining all the nutritional values and taste feeling.

Arborio rice is the ideal rice variety to cook Risotto. With long grains, its starch is slowly released during cooking, creating a creamy broth, while absorbing the flavours of other ingredients. After cooking, the grains remain soft and firm, with an “al dente” texture, essential for a good Risotto!
ROUND GRAIN
Round grain rice. Perfect for absorbing the flavours and aromas of spices. On being cooked the grains are soft, moist, and sticky.
RICE PUDDING

Jasmin is a long-grain variety of fragrant rice also known as aromatic rice. Its fragrance results from the rice plant’s natural production of aroma compounds. It is grown primarily in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and southern Vietnam. Louro Jasmin rice is perfect for absorbing the flavours and aromas of spices. When cooked, the grains are soft, loose and with smooth jasmin fragrance.
