This rice has a natural process of steaming followed by drying, which allows to preserve most of the nutrients, namely vitamins, minerals and fiber. Arborio rice is the ideal rice variety to cook Risotto. With long grains, its starch is slowly released during cooking, creating a creamy broth, while absorbing the flavours of other ingredients. After cooking, the grains remain soft and firm, with an “al dente” texture, essential for a good Risotto!
